Motion Design Internship – Communication Design

Want the chance to have your designs and animations seen by users all over the world? Our Communication Design team is looking for creative, organized talents to create motion graphics for different target groups/stakeholders. Working with our Content Marketing or Hotel Relations teams, you will either be developing attractive motion graphics for use in social media campaigns or creating tutorials that will show hoteliers how to use our products' features to their full potential. If you're looking for an internship where you'll have the freedom to develop your own concepts and bring your ideas to life, apply today.

What you'll do:

  • Prepare illustrations to be used in motion graphics.
  • Provide advice to our stakeholders on how best to translate their intended message through motion graphics.
  • If supporting our Content Marketing team: create ideas for a global concept we can use for our campaigns and produce animated content for them. Our concept must be able to be adapted to numerous locales while keeping production costs down.
  • If supporting our Hotel Relations teams: design and take responsibility for short animation projects that aim to explain new product features.
  • Develop creative concepts and present your ideas to stakeholders using storyboards and other visual aids.

What you'll definitely need:

  • To be currently studying for, or to have successfully completed, a bachelor's degree in Design, Animation, Film Editing or a similar course.
  • A good understanding of Adobe Creative Suite, particularly After Effects, Illustrator and Photoshop.
  • The ability to create and present effective, informative storyboards.
  • An understanding of motion and visual design.
  • A burning passion to continually produce creative work and see your efforts displayed.
  • An unrivalled sense of creativity that allows you to approach ideas from alternative perspectives and produce innovative concepts.
  • The ability to manage stakeholders' expectations of what can realistically be produced.
  • An excellent eye for detail.
  • Excellent self-organization skills that allow you to effectively handle multiple tasks while meeting deadlines.
  • The ability to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines.
  • Fluency in English (our company language).

What we'd love you to have:

  • Some previous agency or studio work experience, particularly any experience involving data visualization or tutorials.
  • Some previous experience (including internships) working with motion design projects.
  • Any experience working with DSLR cameras (using both video and photo).
  • Experience producing social media content, including gifs or short videos.
